The DP-Filter® (5D-82412-RUO) is a device for the filtration of citrated plasmas to remove Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOAC) including dabigatran, edoxaban, apixaban and rivaroxaban at concentrations from 0,000 to 1,000 ng/mL. Manufactured by 5-Diagnostics.
Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs) interfere in various coagulometric coagulation tests. DP-Filter® removes DOACs, which can be responsible for interferences in the lupus anticoagulant test, TT, aPTT, APC resistance. DP-Filter® filters up to 1 µg / mL dabigatran, rivaroxaban, apixaban, edoxaban from plasma samples. After a short incubation and centrifugation, the filter is removed and the eluted, neutralized plasma can be used directly for the coagulation tests or frozen.
